The Opportunity

We are looking for a Worship Ministry Director who loves Jesus more than music and senses a clear call to lead and shepherd people in worship.

What One Will Lead

• Lead worship regularly on Sundays
• Plan services alongside our pastoral team
• Select biblically faithful, congregational songs
• Recruit, train, schedule, and shepherd musicians and vocalists
• Develop new worship leaders
• Lead weekly rehearsals
• Supervise our AVL Coordinator
• Oversee sound, lighting, livestream, ProPresenter, and production volunteers
• Steward the worship and production budget

Will also help prepare our worship and production ministries for our new building opening in 2027, including audio, video, stage design, workflow, volunteer recruitment, and launch preparation.

What We Are Looking For

Candidates should have:

• 3+ years of local church worship leadership experience
• Strong vocal ability
• Proficiency on guitar or keys
• Experience recruiting and developing teams
• Working knowledge of ProPresenter, click/tracks, live sound, livestream, and scheduling software
• Strong organizational and leadership skills

Theological training is preferred.

Spiritual & Ministry Alignment

Candidates must:

• Have a personal, professing faith in Jesus Christ
• Affirm the beliefs and doctrinal statement of New Heights
• Live consistently with our biblical convictions
• Desire to shepherd people, not simply lead music
• Be available Sunday mornings, Thursday evenings, holidays, and special services
