The Flowery Branch Campus Pastor plays a critical leadership role in driving both the spiritual and numerical growth of the campus.

This role exists to:

• Reach new people with the Gospel
  
  
• Build a thriving, engaged campus community
  
  
• Develop leaders who multiply disciples
  
  

This is not just a pastoral care role—it is a leadership role focused on growth, discipleship, and culture.

What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)

• Measurable growth in attendance and engagement
• Strong volunteer and leadership pipeline established
• Staff aligned, energized, and executing effectively
• Clear discipleship pathways being actively lived out
• Campus culture marked by invitation, connection, and spiritual growth

Key Responsibilities

1. Evangelism & Growth

• Lead efforts to reach the local community with the Gospel
• Drive both spiritual and numerical growth aligned with church goals
• Equip the congregation to actively share their faith (oikos model)
• Champion a culture of disciple-making

2. Staff Leadership & Development

• Lead, develop, and care for campus staff
• Set clear expectations and align team around measurable goals
• Build a strong, mission-driven staff culture
• Equip leaders to multiply disciples and leaders

3. Pastoral Care

• Shepherd and care for the campus community
• Build meaningful relationships across the congregation
• Provide crisis care and spiritual guidance as needed

4. Sunday Experience Leadership

• Be highly visible and relational before and after services
• Host and preach as scheduled
• Ensure a welcoming, engaging, and excellent Sunday experience

Qualifications

Spiritual & Character

• Strong and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Deep alignment with the mission and values of The Vine Church
• Demonstrates integrity, humility, and servant leadership

Experience & Skills

• Proven leadership experience in ministry or similar environment
• Strong communicator and relational leader
• Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and execute effectively
• Comfortable in a growth-oriented, dynamic environment
